Our Core Values for Sunday School

Compassionate Hospitality

We believe in welcoming everyone with open arms in all of our educational opportunities.

Creating Community

We strive to make positive connections as siblings in Christ.

Intentional Discipleship

We believe in making disciples of Christ and will stand beside each other in our journey with Christ.

Lord's Table Inclusivity

We believe in sharing the same love Christ shared and so we welcome everyone to his table here.

Children & Youth Sunday School

Preschoolers will learn about God’s love through stories, play and fun activities. By the end of their preschool studies they will be rooted in a foundation that knows God made them and He loves them and will be their friend forever.

Children in this class will really “Dig In” to the life of Jesus by hearing a different Bible story each week. Throughout the years in this class they will walk in Jesus’ footsteps from birth to the resurrection and ascension

Students in this class have been gifted with the NIV Adventure Bible and they will explore it thoroughly. This is a time of rapid spiritual growth and children will accumulate a wealth of information to be stored for use throughout life.

A number of topics will be presented in this class to help teens as teens begin their ascent toward adulthood. As always the Bible will provide the certainty and safety necessary for our lives. It’s the basecamp!

Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and so will our high school youth as they journey on in this class. Emphasis will be spent on learning and growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ ready to launch into leadership roles in our global society.

Adult Sunday School

Lead by Julie Millard in Room 2R-1 in the Education wing.
Beginning at 9:15 am and will continue through the summer of 2026

Denominations from evangelical to mainline continue to experience deep divisions over universal social issues. The underlying debate isn’t about a particular social issue, but instead it is about how we understand the nature of scripture and how we should interpret it. The world’s bestselling, most-read, and most-loved book is also one of the most confusing. In
Making Sense of the Bible, Adam Hamilton, one of the country’s leading pastors and Christian authors, addresses the hot-button issues that plague the church and cultural debate, and answers many of the questions frequently asked by Christians and non-Christians alike.

Did God really command Moses to put gay people to death? Did Jesus really teach that everyone who is not a Christian will be assigned to hell? Why would Paul command women to “keep silent in the church?” Were Adam and Eve real people? Is the book of Revelation really about the end times? Who decided which books made it into the scriptures and why? Is the Bible ever wrong? In approachable and inviting language, Hamilton addresses these often misunderstood biblical themes leading readers to a deeper appreciation of the Bible so that we might hear God speak through it and find its words to be life-changing and life-giving.
