  • Flexible commitment welcome – Not everyone can attend weekly; we understand life happens
  • Try the “Second Sunday” rule – Give us two consecutive tries to see if we’re a good fit
  • Communication is key – Email music@wesleybloom.com or text Tim if you can’t attend
  • Stay home when sick – Please don’t force yourself to rehearse when ill

Performance Standards

  • Commitment to excellence – Well-rehearsed performances lead others to worship
  • Willingness to try new things – Be open to growth and new musical experiences

Our Musical Vision

Repertoire Goals

We’ll develop music for all skill levels

  • Progressive difficulty – developing, proficient, and advanced pieces
  • Varied arrangements – 2-part, 3-part, and 4-part harmonies
  • Specialized groups – SSAA Treble and TTBB Bass choir options
  • Balanced programming – selections that showcase all voice parts

Selection Process

  • Collaborative approach – Just because the leader loves a piece doesn’t guarantee we’ll perform it
  • Choir investment matters -We’ll choose music that engages and excites everyone
  • Biblical alignment – All selections will thoughtfully connect to our worship theme

Building Our Community

Communication & Grace

  • Direct, respectful dialogue – Share opinions and concerns directly with leadership
  • Avoid gossip – “Grapevine” communication hurts our ministry
  • Extend grace abundantly – This is my first paid church position; I will make mistakes
  • Be Jesus to one another – Lead with love, patience, and understand
