Jesus invites everyone to His table. His gift of body and blood is for all. The Community Friendship Meal at Wesley Church invites and welcomes everyone and works to help them feel totally included in all aspects of Wesley Church. Jesus respects the dignity of all. We reach out with the same love of Jesus, an initiating, inviting, welcoming love for everyone.

The Community Friendship Meal is a ministry started in early November 2002, and is still essential to the work of Wesley Church now. In those twenty plus years, a nutritious meal has been served every week, including two meals per week had been served during the 2020-2021 Coronavirus Pandemic.

But we could not do this ministry alone; without you and your group this wonderful accomplishment would not be possible. Please consider signing up after viewing the soup kitchen calendar.

There are openings throughout the year. If you have been part of a group that has faithfully served a meal for many of those years, you probably have noticed a significant increase in the number of people being served each Saturday.

The meal is hosted at Wesley Church on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
 Many groups from Wesley and surrounding groups help to make this a successful outreach ministry for our Community.
As Wesley Church looks to the future of the Friendship Meal, your suggestions for improvement or how your organization can be helped, feel free to pass that on. Your ideas are welcome.
